Answers to the most common questions about Whiteout Companion, the map tools and the upgrade calculators.
Whiteout Companion is an unofficial web app created by players for players of Whiteout Survival. It helps alliance leaders and officers manage facilities, buffs and member rankings in a fast and visual way, without spreadsheets.
No. Whiteout Companion is a completely unofficial, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Century Games. All trademarks and game assets belong to their respective owners.
No account is required. All of your data is stored locally in your browser using LocalStorage. You can clear or export it at any time.
Open the main map and select an alliance from the sidebar. Then click on a fortress, stronghold or facility marker. A small panel lets you assign the structure to the selected alliance. The icon of the alliance appears above the marker so everyone can understand ownership at a glance.
Yes. Use the CSV import function: download the sample file from the app, fill in the structure IDs, types and alliance codes, and then import it back. The tool automatically updates the markers and the buff summary.
The app highlights potential conflicts in the buff summary. This makes it easier to see stacking problems, especially when the same FC type and level is used more than once by the same alliance.
Each facility has a predefined buff profile taken from in-game values. When you assign a structure to an alliance, Whiteout Companion adds its bonuses to the total line of that alliance. The summary is updated in real time whenever you change ownership.
The ranking module (currently in development) lets you record the level of Chief Gear and Chief Charms for each member. From there, the app can build different rankings: a general score, a battle-focused score and a bear-focused score, depending on which stats matter for a specific event.
Yes. Many leaders keep the app open on a second monitor or on another device during Bear Trap, Crazy Joe and server wars. The visual map and the buff summary help make quick decisions when there is no time to recalc everything by hand.
The app stores only the data you manually enter: alliance names, assignments, notes and ranking values. This information is saved locally in your browser. We do not have access to your personal game account or to your devices.
Yes. You can export your alliance data as CSV files and import them again on another browser. This is the safest way to keep a backup or to share the workload with another officer.
Whiteout Companion includes a manual language selector in the footer. If your browser language is different from English, the app might try to guess your preference. You can always switch language from the footer at any time.
You can send an email to whiteoutcompanion@gmail.com. Feedback from alliances is what drives most of the roadmap.
